Update as a result of the fires.
We are all aware of the pressure on the Nelson community as a result of the tragic fires. Our thoughts are with our Director of Tests and his wife (Mike and Karen) who have been evacuated as a safety precaution. There is no impact on the conference, but the social event routes planned for Saturday may be subject to change. We will inform you of this at the rider/driver briefings on Saturday.
Please also be conscious of the fact that there may be tired and distracted people on the roads in the region, so watch your following distances and keep a high level of awareness when driving or riding. It is likely to be hot, and fatigue may be an issue, especially for those riding, so please take regular rests and keep hydrated.
See you at the Conference!
